Obverse: Quartered shield with arms of Castile and Leon in correct order.  Pomegranate at bottom of shield.  Value VIII reading downward to right of the shield. Reverse: Pillars with waves.  Assayer PoRS. Date unlisted in R/L and L/R, C&T Type 75, number 347a.

VIII que lee hacia abajo a la derecha del escudo. Reverso: Columnas coronadas. Ensayador PoRS. La fecha sin apuntar en R/L y L/R,C&T tipo 75, número 347a.

To our knowledge this is the only specimen known.  Reverse inscription of motto is PLVS / VL / TRA in three lines.  Assayer PoRS reading upward to left of pillars, date 1671 reading downward to right of pillars.  Nice looking ocean waves beneath the pillars.

A nuestro conocimiento éste es el único espécimen sabido. La inscripción reversa del lema es PLVS / VL / TRA en tres líneas. La lectura de ensayador PoRS hacia arriba a la izquierda de pilares, fecha 1671 que lee hacia abajo a la derecha de pilares. Ondas hermosas del océano debajo de los pilares.
