Anverso: Escudo de Castilla y Leon. Granada en la parte inferior del escudo. Valor VIII que lee hacia arriba a la izquierda del escudo. Reverso: Columnas coronadas. Ensayador Po(RS).  Fecha 166Z. R/L M46-32 y L/R M46-32, C&T Tipo 104, numero 544.

A nice example of an un-salvaged Nuevo Reino 8 reales, multiple struck.  Ex: Faistauer Collection, Christensen sale Dec 8 & 9, 1979 lot 1077 described as ".. toned VF-EF ... obverse somewhat double struck.  A  handsome example of this rarity".  Ex: Schuckmann Collection, Renaissance Auctions sale Dec 13, 2001 lot 3111.  The crown style is different than that used on coin # 1796 which is also dated 166Z.
