A nice
example of an un-salvaged Nuevo Reino 8 reales, multiple
struck. Ex: Faistauer Collection, Christensen sale Dec
8 & 9, 1979 lot 1077 described as ".. toned VF-EF ...
obverse somewhat double struck. A handsome example of
this rarity". Ex: Schuckmann Collection,
Renaissance Auctions sale Dec 13, 2001 lot 3111. The crown
style is different than that used on coin # 1796 which is also dated
166Z. |
